How to bustle a cathedral wedding veil We recommend that you use a small safety pin placed at the waist of your gown. Tie a half inch white satin ribbon that is about 16 inches long through the safety pin. Tie a knot at the end of the ribbon so that you now have a loop of ribbon. Bring your veil through the ribbon making a large pouf that is about three feet. Voila, your veil should be off the ground and ready for the day. Our two layer veils are actually placed on separate combs so that you can remove your cathedral length veil and still wear your shorter veil for the rest of the day.
